AC 706 AM you should carefully read these instructions to maximise this product’s  
performance.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS  
IMPORTANT!  
• The unit is designed for indoor operation.  
• Rating: This unit must be connected to a 220-240 V / 50 Hz earthed outlet.  
• The installation must be in accordance with regulations of the country where the  
unit is used.  
If you are in any doubt about the electrical installation, have it checked and if  
necessary modified by a qualified electrician.  
• The AC 706 AM is safe. However, as with other electrical appliances, use it with  
care.  
• Keep out of the reach of children.  
• Do not clean the unit by spraying it or immersing it in water.  
• Do not insert any object into the opening of the unit.  
• Disconnect it from the mains before cleaning the unit or any of its components.  
• Never connect the unit to an electrical outlet using an extension cord. If an outlet  
is not available, one should be installed by a licensed electrician.  
• Don’t lift or move by pushing the unit at the rear, but always at  
the side.

• Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug. Do not lead the  
cord over sharp edges.  
• A damaged supply cord should be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent  
or a qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

by an authorized service representative. Failure to do so could result in a loss of  
warranty.

OPERATION  
1. Pour clean, cold water through the water  
hole. Stop the water supply when the  
indicator reaches the red point.  
2. Or store ice cubes into the ice tank, the cool  
air will be colder and more comfortable than  
the water you supply.

3. Plug the unit into the correct voltage.  
4. Turn the timer switch to ON or adjust the  
timer to switch OFF in up to 8 hours.  
5. Adjust speed switch to the desired cool air.  
'H' for high, 'M' for medium, 'L' for low fan speed.  
6. Push the cool button ON, the air filter will rotate, a mist of cool air will come out  
about 3 minutes later. When the cool button is OFF, only dry filtered air will be  
supplied.  
7. Push the swing button ON, the louvres will make a 120° sweep. Or switch the  
swing button to OFF and choose the desired air direction manually.  
8. Move the louvres of the air vent to direct the air higher or lower.

CAUTIONS  
• Do not pour water into the ice tank.  
• When the product is not in use, make sure the timer switch is left in the 'OFF'  
position.  
• Do not place the unit directly against curtains or walls.  
• Moving of the unit should be slow and with the unit positioned sideways. Be  
careful not to knock the unit over!  
• Do not place objects on the unit.  
• Do not obstruct the flow of air.  
• Wash the filter and water tank every 2 weeks.  
• Do not leave/store with water inside.

HOW TO CLEAN THE AIR FILTER AND WATER TANK  
1. Unplug and position in an area where water will do no  
damage.  
2. Place a container behind the unit, loosen the knob at  
the rear low plate and the water will flow from the tank  
into the container.  
3. Unscrew and release the rear plate.  
4. Pull out the terminals and take out the air filter  
together with the rear plate.  
5. Clean the air filter. Be careful not to splash the small motor with water. Do not  
wash the small motor with running water.  
6. Replace the air filter, screw back the rear plate and replace the knob.
